Maintenance Free Zone
Most deck materials are maintenance free for as long as 10 years. We highly recommend against using cheaper materials than we quote, simply because the deck will deteriorate over time and you’ll be faced with a replacement project. We Highly Recommend Composite Decking Materials for your project We’ll admit, any new deck we produce is going to look just great for many years.
As deck builders for as long as we can remember, we’ve found that the challenge with traditional wood decks come at around 6 years of age as the wood products succumb to sunlight, harsh winters, rain and normal use. Deck cleaning companies and products make billions each year with services to help consumers refurbish their decks. While most work well they never bring your deck back to the condition it was years ago. On the other hand the composite materials that we use to build decks has a lifespan of double or triple that of traditional wood. Besides looking great, composite woods come in many colors that don’t need to be applied after the deck is in, or in years to come. Composite woods don’t stain or scratch like traditional woods. Composite woods are splinter free, never warp and have a longer warranty than traditional woods. You may notice that most national parks and government outdoor facilities have moved to composite woods for decks and benches. The low maintenance factor pays for itself over time. So if you are in it with your deck for the long haul, composite wood is your deck material choice
