Introducing Tigerwood Decks from NRC

We’ve got something new at NRC that will help us create the most unique deck you can imagine.  It’s called Tiger Wood. (not to be confused with the pro golfer).

If you’ve shopped the lumber yards around N.E. Ohio you’ve probably not come across Tigerwood.  Tigerwood is an exotic hardwood that is naturally resistant to rot and decay, is the most exotic wood decking we sell, and offers a 30+ year lifespan without preservatives!This unique wood is one of the finest quality hardwoods available. What our customers like about it is the  unique light golden-brown to reddish-brown coloring with exotic black and brown streaks.

Before Tigerwood, most exotic wood decks were made with teak, cedar or highly expensive African hardwoods.  However Tigerwood is much more affordable and provides more durability along with the same or better exotic look. We think Tigerwood makes a great deal of sense for our customers in this climate because it is very resistible to decay and looks great for years with little or no care at all.  It keeps straight and true on your deck and will get comments from everyone who visits.

We can create a complete deck from Tigerwood or combine it with a contrasting wood tone or even  composite woods to produce a stunning effect for your deck and stairs. As far as pricing goes we have found it to be the least expensive exotic wood for the money and delivers an above average presentation and durability.
